The Digital Consortium: Reinforcing the Power of Blended Learning

Now in its 5th year, the Digital Consortium visited this summer the Wilson County Schools (led by Superintendent Donna Wright) near Nashville, Tennessee.  Wilson County is one of the fastest growing areas in the country, and we were able to learn about the new schools they are building, and the high-level technology involved with teaching and learning as well as student safety. We also visited the world-famous Wild Horse Saloon.

The fall meeting will be held on October 27-29, 2019, in Huntsville, Alabama, with the Athens City Schools (under the leadership of Superintendent Trey Holladay) and will feature a visit to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.  In the spring, the group will convene in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on March 8-10, 2020, to visit the Pewaukee School District (led by Superintendent Mike Cady).  This dynamic group continues to thrive through a new partnership with CoSN, the Consortium for School Networking.  This partnership is helping us to bring together the best minds in technology with amazing superintendents and school administrators from across the country.
